My role combines hands-on development with strategic thinking, which makes the work both challenging and rewarding.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-cite-wordpress-theme-heading has-mb-sm has-md-font-size\" id=\"where-are-you-based\"><strong>Where are you based?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I am based at Weidmann headquarters in Rapperswil, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-cite-wordpress-theme-heading has-mb-sm has-md-font-size\" id=\"what-did-you-do-previously\"><strong>What did you do previously?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining\u00a0Weidmann, I worked\u00a0in\u00a0the fields of liquid\u00a0filtration\u00a0and water treatment, holding roles in application engineering, technical sales,\u00a0marketing,\u00a0and R&amp;D project management.\u00a0With my background in food science and engineering, I developed a strong understanding of materials,\u00a0processes, and quality requirements, which proved highly valuable in these industries.\u00a0My experiences have given me a broad technical and commercial perspective, and I discovered how much I enjoy collaborating in cross-functional teams to develop solutions with real-world impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-cite-wordpress-theme-heading has-mb-sm has-md-font-size\" id=\"why-did-you-decide-to-join-weidmann\"><strong>Why did you decide to join Weidmann?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The position\u00a0immediately\u00a0caught my attention because of its varied responsibilities and the opportunity to work with\u00a0the innovative\u00a0and technically fascinating material, microfibrillated cellulose. As I learned more during the recruitment process, I was impressed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weidmann-group.com\/about\/careers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Weidmann\u2019s\u00a0corporate culture<\/a>, one that values respect,\u00a0curiosity,\u00a0and collaboration. It aligns strongly with how I like to work and hope to grow professionally.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-cite-wordpress-theme-heading has-mb-sm has-md-font-size\" id=\"what-is-the-most-enjoyable-part-of-your-role-and-how-does-your-previous-experience-influence-your-work-today\"><strong>What is the most enjoyable part of your role, and how does your previous experience influence your work today?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>What I enjoy most is the opportunity to apply my diverse background to developing new and exciting microfibrillated, cellulose-based formulations, while working closely with our supportive and experienced team. Bringing together our different perspectives allows us to transform ideas into tangible solutions, from early development stages through sustainable, in-service applications. It is especially rewarding to see the results of our combined work come to life and contribute to more responsible products that have a positive impact on our society and environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-cite-wordpress-theme-heading has-mb-sm has-md-font-size\" id=\"what-do-you-do-to-relax\"><strong>What do you do to relax?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To&nbsp;relax, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family. It helps me recharge and stay balanced.
