Sustainability:
our statement
At Weidmann, we consider sustainability an integral part of what we do throughout our organization. Strengthening competitive advantage through product innovation, creative thinking, and new ideas is key to Weidmann values. When these ideas and innovations combine to reduce our environmental footprint, we believe everyone wins.
Weidmann is at the forefront of the transition to cellulose based solutions for many everyday applications. With our sustainable biomaterials made from natural cellulose, we deliver on our commitment toward achieving a sustainable future.

Cellulose:
a natural choice
Earth’s most abundant renewable resource is cellulose, an organic polymer and the main building material in all plants. Weidmann Fiber Technology uses this natural raw material to produce cellulose based materials for novel and engineered applications. Sourced from sustainably managed forests, products are made from hardwood and softwood pulp.
Cellulose is a natural, sustainable, and biodegradable material with the potential to replace fossil-based products in a wide range of applications. Unique properties are created when nature’s building blocks combine with new technologies, allowing cellulose to leap into the future.
