Maplex MDCC’s calendered surface offers a refined, natural texture that elevates both its formability and visual character.

This medium-density cotton calendered pressboard is flexible, yet strong and completely 100% biobased. Produced with unbleached softwood cellulose and cotton fibers, this grade is then calendered, which densifies the sheet and slightly smooths its surface. The fiber blend, board machine settings, and controlled hot press drying allow the fiber alignment to be monitored during the sheet formation process, resulting in a strong, yet flexible and formable material.
