Satin is a 100% natural kraft food packaging paper used for wrapping bread, buns, confectionery, and food products containing fat. This paper grade is manufactured from a sustainable and compostable material, which is 100% cellulose. It is robust and hardwearing, making it ideal for packaging. Its resistance to grease makes it especially suitable for food packaging.
Satin is a glassine paper that is durable and smooth with a translucent, natural brown finish. The calendering process helps prevent air, fat, and grease from penetrating, which makes this grade a high-performing wrapping paper that protects goods from potential damage and scratches when they come into contact with abrasive surfaces.
Offering a smooth surface, ideal for a range of printing options, the Satin range also boasts transparency features, opening up other packaging and stationery applications.
