Athena Quartz I, formerly known as Interleaving paper, offers good tensile and tear strength properties combined with low porosity. This paper grade is available with two types of coating to control penetration into the paper and improve smoothness properties for better processing.

Athena Quartz I is typically used during the manufacturing of engineered or agglomerated stone and is a more sustainable alternative to rubber. The excellent barrier properties of Athena Quartz I can be tailored to control oil penetration according to the customer’s requirements.
